Spooky Halloween Skydive
Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF) is delighted to announce that they will be hosting their first ever ‘Spooky Halloween Skydive’ on Sunday 30th October. If you fancy donning a Halloween costume and freefalling 13,000ft then MRF want to hear from you.
If it’s your first time jumping out of a plane, don’t worry, you won’t be on your own. After being fully trained at Moonjumper Euro Skydive centre in Garvagh, Coleraine you will be harnessed to an instructor as you take your tandem leap of 13,000ft! All we ask is that you are in the 16-80 years age group to participate.
There is a £40 registration fee (non-refundable) then we ask that you raise a minimum of £370. To sign up for this Spooky Halloween Skydive please contact Emma on 028 9032 1283 for your fundraising pack.
Meningitis and septicaemia are very serious and affect around 3400 people in the UK and Ireland each year. They can be easily mistaken for milder illnesses such as flu but can kill within hours. Sadly, 1 in 10 cases are fatal and one third of survivors are left with life-changing after-effects such as multiple amputations, blindness and brain damage. The charity relies on the generosity and support of the local community to help continue its vital work across Northern Ireland.
